Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate, Dullstroom

Our stay started off with high hopes, but unfortunately, it didn't turn out as we had anticipated. The lodge has great potential with beautiful surroundings, but there were significant issues with the rooms and the extra charges for amenities that were misleading. On the positive side, the resort's charm and historical essence were appealing, making it a lovely backdrop for a getaway. However, the stay was marred by many inconveniences that left us feeling less than satisfied.

Dunkeld Country Estate has a stunning and picturesque setting that genuinely captivates the eye. However, the overall accommodation experience left much to be desired-our chalet was in disrepair and didn't feel up to par. Though spacious, the room's discomfort and lack of essentials were disappointing. Additionally, the road leading to the estate requires urgent repair. While the staff made our wedding event feel special, the stay itself could have been a lot better.

I recently stayed at Dunkeld and had mixed feelings about my experience. The location is absolutely stunning, with picturesque landscapes that create a serene atmosphere. However, the service left much to be desired as it could be quite disorganized at times. While I appreciated some aspects of the accommodation, like the cleanliness of my room, other facilities seemed outdated and in need of improvement.

The dining options were tasty and affordable, but the room I stayed in needed serious improvements, especially for the price I paid. The location is beautiful, but the upkeep of the surrounding area could use some attention.

On a positive note, the location is beautiful and offers various activities like horseback riding among wildlife.
